Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cost to rent a gown?

At CHS Gowns, our maternity gown rentals are priced at $65, offering an affordable and stylish way to capture your special moment. For those looking to elevate their experience, we also have a selection of premium gowns available at an additional cost. These gowns feature luxurious fabrics, intricate designs, and unique details to make your photoshoot or event truly unforgettable.

How do I reserve a gown?

To place a gown on hold, please check availability of your chosen gown/gowns. To reserve the gown/gowns you must submit payment for the rental fee. Please note that we do not offer holds for gowns without the rental fee paid. Once the gown has been set aside and made unavailable to other clients, the rental fee is non-refundable

Do I have to pay a deposit & what is it for?

Yes, please be aware that in order to rent a gown from us, a $100 damage deposit is required at time of pick up. The damage deposit is seperate from the rental fee. This deposit is fully refundable upon the return of the gown in its original condition. We take great care to ensure that our gowns are well-maintained and we expect the same level of care from our customers during the rental period.

In the event that the dress is not returned, or if it is returned damaged beyond repair, you will be charged for the full retail cost of the gown.

Can I get the gown wet if I go to the beach?

The answer to this question would depend on the specific type of gown you are renting. We recommend that you check with us regarding the care instructions for your particular gown. While some gowns may be suitable for a beach setting, others may not be designed to withstand water or sand exposure. Our goal is to help you choose the perfect gown for your event and ensure that you have all the necessary information for its proper care and maintenance. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Do I wash or dry clean the gown after use?

No, do not wash the gown. If the gown is stained while in your care, only hand wash the visibly stained portion of the gown.  If you are unsure how to proceed, please contact us for further guidance
